Meet Genome Canada’s new Board member:
Colin Webster brings a wealth of experience in leadership, sustainability and government and community relations to the Board. He currently serves as Vice-President, Sustainability and External Affairs at Alamos Gold Inc. Throughout his 29-year career, he has focused on fostering meaningful and collaborations between Indigenous communities and the resource development industry in Canada.
Drawn from the academic, private and public sectors, Board Directors bring diverse experience to our governance. Their leadership is critical to our impact as we mobilize the talent and resources of Canada’s genomic ecosystem to improve the lives of Canadians and strengthen communities through applied genomics research and innovation.
Directors are appointed for a two-year term, renewable for up to a maximum of six years.
