Manager, Communications and Digital Media
Rosella Chibambo provides digital communications leadership to Genome Canada’s Policy and Public Affairs team, leading on digital content strategy and managing the organization’s web and social media platforms, digital campaigns and other strategic initiatives.
Before joining Genome Canada, Rosella was a Digital Communications Strategist with Universities Canada, the national association representing Canada’s universities. Over the last decade, she has held diverse communications and advocacy positions across the non-profit sector, and has worked as a journalist, freelance communications consultant and media trainer in Canada and internationally.
Rosella serves as Vice-President of the Board of Directors for the Ten Oaks Project, an Ottawa-based organization serving 2SLGBTQ+ youth and communities.
She holds a Bachelor of Journalism with a Combined Honours B.A. in law from Carleton University.
