Genome Canada is delighted to welcome Paul St George to the position of Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer, effective today.
He has a wealth of senior leadership experience with over twenty years of managing strategic and financial affairs. Most recently he was Vice-President, Finance and CFO at Health Sciences North (HSN) in Sudbury, Ontario, which includes the Health Sciences North Research Institute.
Mr. St George is a seasoned executive and accomplished leader. During his eighteen years at HSN, he led the implementation of various regional and internal projects such as the implementation of a new funding unit and a new financial management system. Over the span of his career, he has been successful in building effectively, long-term relationships with multiple stakeholders, skills that will serve him well in his new role at Genome Canada.
Mr. St George holds a CPA, CGA designation and also holds an MBA from Laurentian University.
